Police and forensics team investigate crime scene for evidence.
Coimbatore: A theft was reported in Perianaickenpalayam area of Coimbatore on Tuesday. Jewels, money, electronic items and some furniture were stolen from a house when the owner and his family had moved into another house in Chinniyampalayam.
Anbazhagan and his wife Parimala found their house in Perianaickenpalayam burgled. It is reported that the burglars had looted 6 sovereigns of gold, cash, wet grinders, television and some furniture. Parimala immediately lodged a complaint with the Perianaickenpalayam police station. A forensic team and the police have collected fingerprints and CCTV footage from the house and have launched a search for the miscreants.
