About 382 MBBS seats and 28 BDS seats across India reserved for children of ESI-insured persons in colleges run by and run on behalf of ESIC

Student link for applying for the certificate is active from September 15 and the link will be deactivated on September 27.


For the academic year 2021-22, as many as 382 MBBS seats and another 28 BDS seats were reserved for the children of ESI-insured persons in colleges run by and run on behalf of ESIC across India.

Those who are insured under the ESI scheme, candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and aspirants who have qualified in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) can apply for admission to a MBBS or BDS Under Graduate (UG) study programme under the insured persons quota for 2021-22, adhering to the policy and procedure approved by the Government of India and ESI Corporation.

Admissions will be based on NEET rank and eligibility certificate - ward of IP certificate issued by ESCI. The applicants may apply online for the ward of IP certificate. Student link for applying for the certificate is active from September 15 and the link will be deactivated on September 27. The last date for submission of physical copy to the concerned branch office for issue of ward of IP certificate is September 28. ESIC branch offices will be open on September 25 and 26 to receive applications and related documents. Admission related information can be obtained from the ESIC website, DGHS website or by visiting the branch in person.
