Corporation Website displays details of works stopped in various wards in the city
Coimbatore:Project works worth ₹30 crores stopped in Coimbatore due to lack of funds. The details of the projects banned in the city were uploaded in the corporation website for referrals.
Construction of latrines at Retail Fish Market in Ward 86 Coimbatore, construction of rainwater drain and bridge at Mariyappa Konar Road, 97th Ward, Mohan Nagar, Metal road construction in the 100th Ward, Echanari Main Road, Construction of 2nd Floor at Corporation Primary School, 59th Ward SIHS Colony, Construction of Additional Classrooms in Veeriyampalayam Primary School, 34 Ward, developmental and sanitation works in East, West and south zones.
The solid waste disposal and renovation of roads in the city, including park maintenance, and 152 unclaimed works and commenced works from Vilankurichi Road to Viswasapuram in Ward 32 were all banned in Coimbatore, the report stated
