Karunya Nagar police have registered a case and are investigating the collision involving a two-wheeler and a car in which one man died and three were grievously injured.
Coimbatore: In a head-on collision involving a two-wheeler and a car near Mundanthurai bridge in Coimbatore, Jayaprakash who was thrown from his motorcycle succumbed to his injuries at a private hospital on Monday.
He was riding o his two-wheeler with his wife and two children and reportedly collided with an oncoming car. His two children and wife have also been admitted to the intensive care unit of Government Hospital.
Jayaprakash hails from Kalamthurai near Coimbatore and works for an IT company. He was riding from his home to his father's house with his wife Tamilarasi (30) and two children on his two-wheeler on Sunday evening, when an oncoming car collided into his bike near the Mundanthurai bridge in Coimbatore.
Though all four injured were immediately admitted to a hospital in Coimbatore, Jayaprakash died on Sunday night, succumbing to his injuries. The Karunya Nagar police have registered a case and are investigating.
