Police arrest Suresh (22) and Kannan (42), residents of Narayanapuram in connection with the burglary.
Coimbatore: A few days ago, 59 sovereign gold jewellery was reported to have been stolen from a railway engineer's house. Two men were arrested in connection to the burglary and all the jewellery was recovered.
Gopal Raju (56), a resident of Edayarpalayam near Periyanaickenpalayam in Coimbatore, works as a railway engineer. While he was out with his family, two men reportedly broke the window bars of the house and stole 59 sovereigns of jewellery and 4.2 kg of silverware from the wardrobe. The police registered a case and were investigating.
