Coimbatore: DMK alliance workers today staged black flag protest in front of houses across Tamil Nadu demanding the repeal of the new agriculture law and the hike in petrol and diesel prices. As part of this, DMK workers led by Kurichi Prabhakaran, a member of the Coimbatore East District Responsibility Committee, staged a protest in front of his house in the Sundarapuram area in the Kinathukadavu constituency, carrying a black flag and condemning the central government.
During the protest, slogans were raised calling for the repeal of the new agricultural law affecting farmers and curbing the rise in petrol and diesel prices.
