Those in need of surgeries were facilitated the Ayushman Scheme of PM Modi for free surgeries
Coimbatore: Sri Siva Hospital and Coimbatore Makkal Sevai Maiam together organized a free medical counseling camp for women on the event of Prime Minister Modi’s birthday.
The event was presided over by the BJP Women Wing President, Vanathi Srinivasan, MLA.
The camp was held at the Sarada Marriage Hall in Puliyakulam. Women from Puliyakulam and Ammankulam regions attended the camp. The program covered various aspects of medical procedures, benefits, and opportunities, especially for women's health care.
It was followed by the facilitation of the Ayushman Scheme of PM Modi, under which those who were in need of surgeries were provided support for free surgery.
Later the Women Wing President addressed the press. She stated that “As part of the various programs organized for the 71st birthday of PM Narendra Modi, the free medical counseling program for women was organized today. The program especially benefits women who hesitate on taking self-health care.
India ranks first among the most populated countries for rapid vaccination of people. As far as TN is concerned, men are more reluctant than women to get vaccinated. In particular, men who have a habit of drinking, hesitate. Therefore, the Government of Tamil Nadu should conduct vaccination camps near TASMAC shops and carry out vaccine administration for them.
