Coimbatore: Aarusamy (64), a laborer from Vadaputhur Maduraiveeran temple area near Kinathukadavu in Coimbatore district, was walking on the roadside near his house on the 18th.
A person who came in the two-wheeler speeding carelessly hit Aarusamy who was walking. The victim sustained serious head and face injuries
Following this, the locals rescued Aarusamy and sent him to Coimbatore Government Hospital by 108 ambulance where he is undergoing intensive treatment. Aarusamy's wife Nanjammal (55) lodged a complaint at the Kinathukadavu police station last evening. A case has been registered against Ilangovanraj (24) of Kuniyamuthur area in Coimbatore for rash driving the two wheeler based on the complaint.
