Coimbatore: As many as 125 individuals participate in the mega mobilization drive for industrial skill apprenticeship training under strive scheme organised by CODISSIA in coordination with District Skill Training Officials in Coimbatore yesterday.
CODISSIA has chosen machinist, fitter and CNC programmer cum operator areas to recruit and train apprentices. Class 10 pass out was the eligibility criteria for candidates to enrol for training.
Candidates who are selected for the mobilization drive will be given three to six months’ basic training and will be deputed to MSME member industries of CODISSIA, for training from one to two years. Candidates will be paid a stipend during the industrial training period.
Candidates who successfully complete the training will receive a National Apprenticeship Training Certificate, which is valid for working in any industry anywhere in India and abroad.
The organizers plan to organize one more mobilization drive on Sunday 26th September 2021at the Government Industrial Training Institute, Coimbatore.
