Coimbatore: Selvaraj, a native of Ramanathapuram lodged a complaint with the Kinathukadavu police station after he had suspicions about his mother’s death.
Selvaraj, 60 of Ramanathapuram Ramalinga Jyotinagar area near Coimbatore works as a security guard.
His mother Lakshmi (86) has been living at his brother Jaganathan's house in the Thamarai Kulam area in Kinathukadavu. Selvaraj received the news of his mother’s death. Upon visiting Jagannath’s house, Selvaraj was denied from visiting his mother’s body.
This raised suspicions and Selvaraj lodged a complaint with the Kinathukadavu Police station requesting to investigate the death of his mother.
The Kinatukadavu police registered a case and recovered the body of Lakshmi and sent the body to Pollachi GH for autopsy
