Coimbatore: The Department of Vascular Surgery shared a note on their successful completion of 200 vascular surgeries in a span of 2 years, which has resulted in a much faster recovery rate. The surgery, a peculiar one has saved many from loss of their limbs, stated the department.

The Department of Vascular Surgery was incepted in the month of August 2019. The team has operated 200 patients in the last two years. 100 of them were done in the last three months, post the second wave of the pandemic.
This Endovascular Surgery has saved many lives, stated the doctors. The doctors also stated that “The surgery is scar-less, thus patients shall recover within 2 to 3 days of surgery and resume to their routine.”
