CCMC Commissioner states that Deputy Commissioner has been released from duty for administrative reasons.
Coimbatore: Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation Commissioner and Special Officer, Raja Gopal Sunkara announced that Vimalraj, the Deputy Commissioner of Coimbatore Corporation has been discharged from service as of Friday.
Mathuranthaki who served as Deputy Commissioner of Coimbatore Corporation was shifted to Tirupur district, last July. Subsequently, the Tirupur District Revenue Officer (Land Acquisition Wing) Vimalraj was appointed as the Deputy Commissioner of Coimbatore Corporation. He took over as Deputy Commissioner of the Corporation office on July 14. However, now, he has been abruptly relieved of his post as Deputy Commissioner.
An order issued by the CCMC Commissioner, Raja Gopal Sunkara stated on Friday that “Vimalraj who works as Deputy Commissioner of Coimbatore Corporation will be discharged from service from today, due to administrative reasons, effective immediately.”
