Coimbatore: Rajesh Kumar (29) died after mistakenly drinking pesticide which was stored in a water bottle. He is reported to have been under the influence of alcohol.
Rajesh Kumar is the son of Karnan who lives in Madathukulam in Tirupur. He has been working in a poultry farm owned by Narayanasami of Devaradipalayam in Kinathukadavu for the past four months. On September 14, an inebriated Rajesh Kumar mistakenly drank pesticide assuming it to be water, while he was at the farm. The pesticide was stored in a water bottle. Rajesh fell sick after some time and was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance by the poultry farm owner Narayanasami.
Rajesh Kumar did not respond to the medical treatment and died on Thursday at the Government Hospital in Coimbatore.
