DMK cadres set out on a procession from the old bus stand in Valparai to pay homage to the statue of Anna on his 113th birth anniversary.
Coimbatore: On the occasion of the 113th birth anniversary of Perarignar Anna, DMK cadres led a procession beginning from the old bus stand in Valparai to pay homage to the statue of Anna.
They garlanded the statue, lit fireworks and offered sweets.
Valparai City Secretary Attorney Palpandi was present on the occasion. J P R Bhaskar, Joint Secretary, Business wing, Soundrapandian former City Councillor Selvam, Ambika Subbaiah, E K Ponnusamy, DMK City Council executives and pro team executives as well as ward councillors and the general public attended the birth anniversary celebration in large numbers.
