Fire Dept. and police officials who saved the man reveal that the man attempted to end his life due to relative refusing to return loan money.
Coimbatore: Nagaraj, a painter residing in Suleswaranpatti in Pollachi climbed up a cell phone tower and threatened to jump off the tower in a bid to end his life. Fire Department and police officials rushed to the tower and managed to save him at the nick of time.
Investigation by the police revealed that Nagaraj had loaned Rs. 45,000 to his relative but on demanding repayment, the relative allegedly refused to repay the loan. This frustrated Nagaraj to the point of attempting suicide.
