Coimbatore: There is a government-aided high school in Mettupalayam taluk of Coimbatore district. 2 of the students in the last 4 days have been suffering from fever and colds and tested positive for Covid-19. Following that the coronavirus test is being taken for all the teachers who work there. The Mahajana Higher Secondary Government Aided School is located at Mettupalayam Pakku Kara Veedi in Coimbatore District.
As fever and runny nose were present for two students they were tested for Covid-19 and it was confirmed some time ago that they had coronavirus infection. Following this, the coronavirus test is being performed on more than 30 teachers who were working at the school. The school has been given a holiday for the next 4 days. The school is constantly sprayed with disinfectants around the school premises. Similarly, the headteacher has instructed the parents to immediately inform the school administration and the health department if the students in the class have any symptoms.
