Coimbatore: Coronavirus infection activities have intensified in Coimbatore district. According to this, fines are being levied on the public who do not wear face masks, companies that do not follow the social distancing properly, and shop owners.
In the Coimbatore district, companies that have not yet complied with the Coronavirus guidelines have been fined Rs 6.99 crore by the public.
District administration official said, The public will be fined Rs 200 for not wearing face masks and not following the social distancing. Companies that do not comply with the Coronavirus guidelines are sealed and fined. Accordingly, a fine of Rs 6 crore 99 lakh has been levied across the district from last year till now, he said.
