Pollachi: Ever since the announcement of privatization of banks and certain important government sectors, there have been outbursts of disapproval throughout the country.

The protesters stated that 'The railway department provides innumerable job opportunities that might get disturbed and the Jawaharlal LIC scheme shall be of no benefit for people if privatized'
'Also, processes and the time involved for obtaining loans from banks will become difficult if privatized. Hence the government should revoke the orders for privatizing these sectors'
