Coimbatore: Manikandan, 20, from Thoothukudi, has been studying at the Polytechnic College and is staying in Singanallur, Coimbatore. He was standing near a wedding hall in the Trichy Road area last evening. Two unidentified men who came there then brandished a knife and threatened him to give them his cellphone. When he refused the enraged men forcibly snatched the cellphone from the student and fled. Ramanathapuram police have registered a case and arrested Manikandan 21 and Nagaraj 22 from Uppilipalayam inc connection with the incident
