Construction works to commence tonight to avoid traffic
Coimbatore: The ex-Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and veteran writer, politician, leader, Arignar Anna’s statue is placed near the town bus stand in Coimbatore.
The stairs in the statue podium are reconstructed as they are broken and unable to use. DMK functionaries pay tribute to the leader during DMK’s significant occasions. The stairs leading to the head of the podium is severely damaged.

A DMK functionary stated that, “Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin has announced a triple function. A grand function will celebrate the legacies of Kalaignar, Anna and Periyar. Construction works are being done on behalf of DMK”
