Sanitary works were inspected in ward 53 VKK Menon Road, Siddhapudhur Health Department office
Coimbatore: The Coimbatore Commissioner for Corporation, raj Gopal Sunkara IAS inspected the sanitary works in city central.
Commissioner and Special Officer, visited the 53rd ward, VKK Menon Road, Siddhapudhur Health Department office. He checked the attendance records of the sanitary workers and advised that the workers should regularly report to work. Further, he stated that the garbage should be collected separately on the basis of degradable and non-degradable waste. He directed the workers to keep themselves safe from infections and dispose of the collected garbage only in the bins placed.

The door-to-door inspection for any kind of infection or fever done by the frontline workers, he stated that the inspectors should record the details in the registers they carry. They should immediately inform the corporation if anybody tested positive.
He later visited the modern toilets built at the Central Bus Terminal and stated the workers there that the latrines must be kept clean and hygenic. The godowns, canteen being constructed at the corporation middle school in Marakkara Nanjappa Gowderstreet, ward 80, was inspected. He also inspected the infrastructures at the school.
He directed the frontline workers to coordinate during the vaccination camp to be held on the 12th of September
