Youth in Audi car attempt to steal sheep; Owner of farm raises an alarm and nabs one of them with help from neighbours in Coimbatore
Coimbatore:Two youth driving an Audi car were caught for stealing sheep by people in the area and handed over to the police in Coimbatore.
Amritham (50) who hails from Machampalayam next to Sundarapuram, Coimbatore reared eight sheep in his farm and as per his normal routine had left the sheep to graze and later locked them in the barn and went home. After a while, Amritham heard his sheep bleat and rushed to his barn to check on them. He was shocked to see two young men stealing his sheep in an Audi car.
Immediately, Amritham shouted for help and neighbours rushed to nab the youth. They were able to get hold of one youth while the other fled the scene. The young man was handed over to the Kuniyamuthur police station. The police have registered a case and are conducting an investigation.
The investigation revealed that the man arrested was Deepak ( 24) of TVS Nagar in Thadagam Road and his friend who escaped was Easwaran. Deepak was arrested by the police.
