All Online Money Transfer Monitored including G Pay: Satyaprada Sahu
Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu Election officer Satyaprada Sahu said all online money transfers are being monitored including Paytm, G Pay, Phone Pe and others.
Tamil Nadu Chief Electoral Officer Satyaprada Sahu said, "Money transactions through Google Pay and Phone Pay will also be monitored. ₹14.13 crore cash confiscated in vehicle inspection in Tamil Nadu till yesterday. A total of ₹15.20 crore rupees and silver items worth ₹38 lakh rupees have been confiscated. Two special expense monitoring officers are coming to Tamil Nadu on the 8th to prevent money laundering.
Banks will monitor the transaction including Google Pay and Phone pe. In case of suspicious transactions the money transaction will be monitored and appropriate action will be taken if it is determined that something has gone wrong. Tamil Nadu is a state with spending anxiety (please check). So the money transfer will be fully monitored. The public can lodge election related complaints through the 'C Vigil' mobile app. Appropriate action will be taken against them."
