Election code of conduct: Engravings with political leaders name on it hidden in Pollachi

Municipal officials have hidden the inscriptions anonymously.


Coimbatore: Political party placards, banners and posters were removed in the Pollachi area as the Code of Conduct for Assembly Elections came into force in Tamil Nadu.

As a part of this, the officials removed the engraving at the entrance of the village office which had the names of successful leaders on behalf of various parties including AIADMK and DMK, former city council members.
