Coimbatore: 3 Pollachi rape case aaccused and remanded in custody till March 17.
Thirunavukarasu, 25, Sabarirajan, 25, Satish, 28, Vasanthakumar, 27, Manivannan, 28, were arrested in Pollachi on Feb. 2019 in connection with a case of raping a student and taking a pornographic video. Three more menbased on their confessions, were arrested on Dec. 6in connection with the incident by Pollachi ADMK student secretary Arulanantham, 34, Haranpal, 29, and Babu, 27. Following this, they underwent a full medical examination and were lodged in the Gobichettipalayam Jail.

Following this, they underwent a full medical examination and were lodged in the Gobichettipalayam Jail.
Police then took Arulanandar into police custody and interrogated him. After that they were again imprisoned at Gobichettipalayam jail. They are being remanded in custody again for 15 days. As their custody ended yesterdaythe three were produced in the presence of the judge by video conferencing yesterday evening. Following that, the Mahila court judge extended the custody till March 17
