Coimbatore: Flag march of paramilitary and police personnel engaged in election security duty held in Coonoor. The Assembly electionsare to be held in Tamil Nadu on April 06. Following the announcement of the Election Commission that the election will be held, the election rules have been in force since February 26th.
This was followed by a flag parade of paramilitary and police personnel from Coonoor Sims Park Road ahead of the upcoming elections on the orders of the District Superintendent today. The parade ended at the fire station grounds via the main roads Bedford, Mount Road, YMCA. It was attended by more than 500 paramilitary personnel and police personnel.
