TN DGP Rajesh Das has been kept in waiting after he was alleged to have sexually harassed women SP.
Coimbatore: Tamilnadu Law and Order DGP Rajesh Das was accused of sexually harassing a female SP. Post the stir caused by this incident, DGP Rajesh Das is now kept in the waiting list.

However, members of the All India Democratic Women's Association members in Coimbatore participated in a demonstration in front the District Superintendent of Police Office urging the official to immediately dismiss DGP Rajesh Das.
Meanwhile the cops arrested All India Democratic Women's Association Secretary Sudha Sundaraman, State President Valentina, State General Secretary Suganthi, Ex MLA Bala Bharathi and Pramila, other leaders of the Association N Amirtham and Radhika for protesting.

Police officials earlier tried to contain the women's association who gathered at the office, but the protesters paraded past them to siege the SP office. Tension broke between the cops and the protestors when they tried to enter into the SP office.

Post this the All India Democratic Women's Association members took part in a demonstration in front of the SP office in Coimbatore, they chanted slogans requesting immediate dismissal and arrest of DGP Rajesh Das. The protestors also requested the officials to take immediate actions against Chengalpattu SP Kannan who assisted DGP Rajesh Das.

Cops have then arrested over 100 members who were involved in this protest. This demonstration has created a stir near the SP office in Coimbatore.
