Coimbatore: Following the announcement of the date of the Tamil Nadu elections Deputy Commissioner warns of discipline during election time and makes present and earlier criminals to sign a bond of good conduct who have been arrested and jailed for murder, robbery, theft and embezzlement in the Coimbatore district. Deputy Commissioner Stalin warns that those who are involved in criminal activities will be imprisoned.
Police have issued a warning to all the culprits involved in more than 3 criminal offenses across the Coimbatore district and who have been released on bail. The Tamil Nadu Police is taking various measures to ensure that the election is peaceful and that the public can vote without fear. Criminals are more likely to engage in intimidation, cash distribution etc.,
Therefore, the police are constantly taking action to maintain law and order in the city of Coimbatore. In Coimbatore, 253 rowdies are already being actively monitored as 204 rowdies involved in various crimes and 40 people involved in crimes including robbery.
