5 DMK members arrested on complaint of distributing pamphlets criticizing Minister
Coimbatore: In Coimbatore, a case has been registered against 5 DMK members who issued notices criticizing Minister SP Velumani.
Notices were issued on behalf of the DMK yesterdayin various areas including Coimbatore, Kuniyamuthur, PK Puthur and Periyar Nagar. It contained various information criticizing Minister SP Velumani. The AIADMK chief lodged a complaint with the Kuniamuthur police.
Following this, the Kuniyamuthur police registered a case against DMK leader Loganathan, area youth wing organizer Kabali, 88th ward in-charge Balu, 93rd ward general body members Devendran and Kanagaraj. The case has been registered for violating the Code of Conduct for Elections.
