9 days holiday for Banks: Public urged to plan ahead

Banks staff across India to get 9 days holiday this month. Public urged to finish their banks' work earlier.


Coimbatore: Banks staff across India to get 9 days holiday this month. Public urged to finish their banks' work earlier.

Based on the Reserve Bank's holiday list, Banks are to be closed on 9 days this month. Public who have pending works at their respective banks are requested to complete their works accordingly to avoid delay.

According to the RBI List, March 11this a holiday for Maha Shivaratri, March 29thand March 30thare declared as Holi holidays. The banks are also closed on March 2nd Saturday and Sunday. Hence there are a total number of 9 holidays this month.

Banks will also be closed on March 15thand 16th due to the strike. So if you have any important requirements in the bank, complete it immediately.
