Robotex has introduced 3 devices which can help prevention of Covid-19 spread.
Coimbatore: Robotex, a company based out of Peelamedu, Coimbatore has been involved in inventing new devices since 2018.
The company had created 3 devices in the shape of a watch named Press it, Puremani and Puremani plus which is said to prevent the Covid-19 spread.
The press meet along with the launch of these new products happened today at the Coimbatore Press Club were the practical explanation of the device's work was explained by the director of Robotex Jothi Murugan.
During the event director of Robotex Jothi Murugan said that the devices invented were based on an inspiration from the idea given to him by his son Pranav who is in 5th grade.
He said that this watch shaped device is sold online at a cost of ₹399 and the device can hold upto 15 mili of sanitizer in it. The device when pressed dispenses 1mg of the sanitizer solution and can be used to dispense sanitizer for 15 times.
Robotex director Jothi Murugan said that the other product Puremoney has the capacity of holding 300mg of sanitizer solution which can be used to clean 1500 currency notes. The Pure money machine is sold at a rate of rupees 4999.
He also said that the next product Pure money plus which is sold at a cost of ₹5999 has a little more storage capacity when compared to the pure money machine.
Director of Robotex Jothi Murugan said that the last two machines can be used to clean currency notes which will contain the spread of Covid-19 via currency note transaction.
He also said that a new trust will be set-up for innovative products from young minds which help them get proper recognition for their inventions.
