Woman creates scene after biting a lady cop and beating the bus driver with footwear!
Coimbatore: A bus from Tirupur was heading towards Coimbatore and made a stop near Singanallur traffic signal. A woman named Sumathi (36) along with her brother Senthil Kumar were driving on their moped from Neelikonampalayam and wanted to overtake the bus. On being unable to overtake due to the traffic in that area, Sumathi and her brother Senthil Kumar became agitated.
As a result they decided to stop the bus and got into an argument with the bus driver Selvakumar.
While Senthil Kumar throwed stones at the bus and broke the glasses on the front his sister Sumathi hit the bus driver with her footwear. This created traffic jam in that area.
Singanallur police department got information about this incident and a lady cop named Gauthami arrived at the scene immediately. Sumathi then attacked the lady copy by biting her had hand. This caused panic in the area and other police officials reached the spot. The lady constable was sent to a private hospital nearby.
The police officials then arrested Sumathi, Senthil Kumar and Manigandan forattacking police and preventing a government staff from doing his job.
