Coimbatore: Container lorry crashes into a lottery shop in Walayar, Kerala. The video of the lucky escape of two people in the lottery shop goes viral on social media. The container lorry headed towards Palakkad via Valayar on the Kerala border last night.
It seems that the lorry driver tried to stop the lorry on the side of the road when he was passing the Walayar check post. The container truck lost control and crashed into a two-wheeler and entered a lottery shop.
This caused panic and the CCTV footage of two survivors of the crash has gone viral. The lorry is said to have lost control as the gear was neutered. Walayar police said the accident took place when the driver did not apply the handbrake. But fortunately everyone escaped unharmed.
