Recoveries continued to eclipse new cases with 1,098 patients getting cured aggregating to 7,92,063 till date, the State health department bulletin said.
Active cases stood at 9,039.
Among districts, Chennai led with 295 new cases today followed by Coimbatore with 93 cases.
Testing of samples stood at 64,441 today, totalling to 1,38,60,244 getting examined till date.
