Police officials arrest woman who left a 7-year-old girl on the road in a grievous state!

The girl who was admitted at the Avinashi goverment hospital was given first aid and was taken to the Coimbatore government hospital for further treatment.


Tirupur: Locals who found a 7-year-old girl being almost unconscious on the road with injuries informed the 108 services. The girl who was admitted at the Avinashi goverment hospital was given first aid and was taken to the Coimbatoregovernment hospital for further treatment.

During the police investigation with the help of a CCTV footage it was revealed that the girl was left on the road by a woman in a car and who then later returned on foot in the same area. The police who indentified the woman was investigating on the case further.

In another local area people were informed by a man who was travelling that he saw a lady standing alone on the road near the busstop.

The locals identified the woman to be the lady from the CCTV footage and informed the police department.

Police later captured the woman who said that her name was Shailaja and that she was a doctor from Bangalore and had consumed rat poison. The police officials then took to the hospital were she is undergoing treatment.

The police are yet to find wheather the girl is her daughter, on why she left the girl on the road in Tirupur and what is the reason behind them consuming poisonous substance.
