When asked the Police department officials about this incident, It was revealed that the incident happened near the Karumbukadai checkpoint when a 17 year old boy's phone was robbed by an unidentified man on a bike.
The Kuniyamuthur police officials who filed a case regarding this incident arrested Irsath who was also from the same area with the help of the CCTV footage.
