During the meeting DMK's organising secretary RS Bharathi said that DMK party leader MK Stalin wanted Grama Sabha meetings to be held across various districts in Tamilnadu and as per his wishes Grama Sabha meetings are planned to be held till January 10th across Tamilnadu.
During this campaign DMK has planned to conduct over 16,000 Grama Sabha meetings across Tamilnadu.
Further during his talk with the media DMK's organising secretary RS Bharathi also said that DMK wanted to remove the corrupt party from ruling Tamilnadu and so filed a complaint to the Governor. He said that Grama Sabha meetings are similar as this campaign puts corrupt AIADMK ministers under limelight.
He also said people are awakened and are clear that they don't want the corrupt AIADMK ruling them. DMK's organising secretary RS Bharathi also said that this feeling amidst the public is a manifestation of how people want a change this time.
After this, DMK's organising secretary RS Bharathi took part at the Grama Sabha meeting which was held at Malumichampatti.
RS Bharathi was earlier in the news some months back when he slurred against the media and Dalits in a meeting and had later apologised for the same.
