Sandalwood trees smuggled in Coimbatore!

Sandalwood trees were chopped and smuggled by mystery.


Coimbatore: 3 Sandalwood trees chopped and smuggled near Serthuma, Selvapuram. Around 6 sandalwood trees were located at the venue of Sunnath Jamadh Kabarsthan. It is said that an unidentified gang had entered the property yesterday and chopped 3 Sandalwood trees in the vicinity and fled the area.

Later when the members of the Sunnath Jamadh Kabarsthan realized the trees missing they informed the Selvapuram police department about this incident.

The police officials arrived at the scene immediately and have filed a case regarding this and are now conducting a thorough investigation about this.
