DMK worked tirelessly during the Nilgiris floods - MK Stalin in Tamilagam Meetpom Video conferencing
The Nilgiris: MK Stalin in Tamilagam Meetpom Video conferencing said that DMK worked tirelessly during the Nilgiris floods. MK Stalin said that it was DMK that provided assistance on a war footing during last year's landslide and floods in the Nilgiris district. Stalin accused the AIADMK government of not even providing food to the victims.

Nilgiris Lok Sabha Member A.Raja chaired a video conference with DMK executives in Coonoor, Nilgiris. It took place on Sunday in the presence of district executive Mubarak. MK Stalin, who was present on the video conferencing and spoke, said the key people involved in the Kodanadu murder and robbery case.
He said the key figures allegedly involved in the Kodanad murder and robbery case are still out and have been given responsibile posts in the AIADMK. He pointed out that the only achievement of Edappadi Palaniswami is the murder and robbery case at former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa's Kodanadu estate. He said that Rs. 7.5 crores was allocated from DMK MLA and MP funds for flood relief and the amount is still used for providing welfare assistance to people.
He also assured that if the DMK rules in Tamil Nadu, an engineering college and an art college will be opened in the Nilgiris district on behalf of the government. On behalf of the DMK, Lok Sabha member A. Raja and District Secretary Mubarak presented 10,000 cash and gold medals to 186 DMK cadres at the event.
In addition, scholarships ranging from Rs. 2,000 to Rs. 3,000 per person were given to 780 students. Money for medical expenses was provided to 180 persons. The event was attended by District Panchayat President Pondhose, State Minority WIng Deputy General Secretary R Anwar Khan, City Secretary M. Ramasamy, and members of Women's Wing and Youth Wing, among others. FDistrict Assistant Secretary Ravi Kumar delivered the vote of thanks.
