He inspected the road widening being carried out at Sugunapuram in Ward No.99 of South Zone.
Following this he visited Ward No.99 Edayarpalayam Lakshmi Nagar, Poonthottam Road where tar road work is in progress.
The Corporation Commissioner, who inspected the construction work of the water drainage canal on Ward No.86 Saramedu Main Road, directed the concerned officials to complete the work on time.
City Engineer A. Lakshmanan, Assistant Engineers and Corporation Officers were present during the inspection.
Similarly, he personally inspected laying of road and drinking water projects in the South Zone, Ward No.97, Kasthuri Garden and Pillaiyarpuram.
During the event, Kinathukadavu MLA Ettimadai A. Shanmugam was present.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner S. Mathuranthagi inspected laying of road in Ward No.41 Ganapathy 4th Block and Ward No.42 Chinnavedampatti in the North Zone of Coimbatore Corporation.
It is to be noted that the Corporation Commissioner and the Deputy Commissioner conducted separate inspections.
