The meeting was attended by DMK functionaries MPs TR Baalu, Trichy Siva, TKS Ilangovan and Anthiyur Selvaraj and Subbulakshmi Jagadeesan who received petitions from the party regarding the election manifesto.
The meeting was also attended by 4executives in charge of 8 assembly constituencies in Tirupur district.
Party cadres requested that key issues that need attention in Tirupur district be included in the election manifesto.
