Coimbatore: For the first time since'Covid-19' outbreak, 'Air Arabia' has added one more service each week between Coimbatore and Sharjah.
Coimbatore: For the first time since'Covid-19' outbreak, 'Air Arabia' has added one more service each week between Coimbatore and Sharjah.
'Air Arabia' is providing service between Coimbatore and Sharjah. Before the 'Covid -19' outbreak, flights were operated five days a week. Post onset of the pandemic, only one service(Saturday) is provided between Coimbatore and Sharjah. Under the circumstances, from tomorrow 'Air Arabia' will be operating one more service on Wednesdays. The flight will land in Coimbatore at 3:30 am and will depart to Sharjah at 4:15 am.
Sources at the airport said, "Air Arabia has introduced one more service between Coimbatore and Sharjah from tomorrow.2.5 to 3 tonnes of cargo will also be loaded in these two flight services. Mostly flowers and vegetables are booked for cargo transportation in these flights."
Kongu Global Forum (KGF), Director, D. Nanda Kumar said," On behalf of our forum we wholeheartedly welcome this initiative by 'Air Arabia' management. This is a good sign that shows normalcy is returning slowly. We also expect more services to be started in the upcoming days which will help with the development of theeconomy."
