The DMK Election Manifesto Preparation Committee meeting was held today at a private hotel in Coimbatore. DMK Election Manifesto Preparation Committee Chairman T.R. Baalu, and team members T.K.S. Ilangovan, Trichy Siva, Subbulakshmi Jagadeesan and other key executives were present. The consultation meeting was attended by many including entrepreneurs, hotel owners and farmers.

Following this, the manifesto preparation committee received petitions on behalf of the coalition parties and social organizations. The committee also consulted with the Nilgiris District administrators. The OBC Coalition, which was present on behalf of the social organizations, submitted a petition demanding that jobs be given to Tamils in Tamil Nadu and that Tamil Nadu should not provide medical seats to the central quota after the DMK regime takes over. Similarly, various organizations submitted petitions to the committee on the features to be included in the election manifesto.
