Coimbatore: Police inspector presented a student with a mobile phone to help him attend online classes in Coimbatore.
Pugalendi is a painter from Sundarapuram area of Coimbatore. His son Harish is studying 9th standard in a school on Avinashi Road. Pugalendi has been unable to get a proper job due to a coronavirus infection. Schools have started teaching lessons online but Harish has not been able to attend classes as he does not have a mobile phone. When the teacher of the school asked the student about this, he explained his situation.
Following this, the teacher of the school requested help from a private charity trust and with the help of Singanallur Law and Order Police Inspector Rajkumar, the student was presented with a new mobile phone.
The school teacher and student expressed their gratitude to the police inspector and the administrators of the private trust for assisting with a mobile phone during the time of need.
