Petition to District Collector seeking action to provide Widows' Pension in Coimbatore

According to Shakuntala, a woman who lost her husband five years ago, she has filed several petitions with the Madukkarai Tahsildar's Office, but they were rejected for various reasons.

She said if the assistance is provided it would be a huge help to her two children and herself.

More than 100 people from the area have filed petitions urging the district collector to take action to get the Widows' Pension.
