Valparai Jewelers Association President A.V.V. Vallikannu presided over the event that was held in the presence of Nagaraj Nadrayan, the Valparai leader of VHP.
As part of the program, special worship services were held. Following this, firecrackers were burst and the event concluded with sweets being offered to all in attendance.
More than 50 members of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, the Hindu Parishad and the Hindu Munnani attended the event.
