Coimbatore: Woman dies of heart attack in Coimbatore when informed about daughter's death
Coimbatore: Shanmugam-Premakumari, a couple from Nallampalayam, Coimbatore lives with their daughter Anuradha, son-in-law and grandchildren.
The house that they live in was sprayed with pesticides yesterday due to pest harassment. Shanmugam who inhaled the pesticide accidentally took ill and was admitted to a hospital for treatment. Similarly, Anuradha also had breathing difficulties and was taken to a hospital for treatment. Doctors who examined her declared her as dead on arrival.
Anuradha's mother Premakumari was informed about the incident. She was shocked to hear this and died of a heart attack at home.
The tragic deaths of two women belonging to the same family has caused grief among relatives and nearby residents. Thudiyalur police are investigating the matter.
