Congress Party protests in Tirupur demanding withdrawal of Farm Bills

Tirupur: In Tirupur, a protest was held on behalf of the Congress party demanding the withdrawal of Farm Bills. The Tirupur District Congress Party had announced a hunger strike amid protests across the country today against the Farm Bills passed by the central government recently.

But as the police did not permit the hunger strike, a protest on behalf of the Congress party took place in front of the Tirupur Kumaran Memorial. During the demonstration, slogans were raised demanding withdrawal of the Farm Bills.
