Income Department probe for third day at DMK executive's house: admitted to hospital due to chest pain

Coimbatore: On the morning of the October 28, the Income Tax authorities raided the house of DMK Coimbatore.



Coimbatore: On the morning of the October 28, the Income Tax authorities raided the house of R Krishnan, DMK West District the in-charge, Coimbatore.

R Krishnan, his wife and family members are being interrogated for the third day today. Under the circumstances, he had a spike in his blood pressure and chest pain and has been admitted to a private hospital near his home in Kalapatti. Subsequently, he is being treated there.

Tense moments prevailed in the area as DMK executives, cadres and the general public gathered in front of the hospital.

While the DMK has condemned the raid as political vendetta, R Krishnan illness today has come as a shock to the party members.
