Coimbatore: Minister SP Velumani paid homage to the portrait of the Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar on Thevar Jayanthi.
The 113th Jayanti and 58th Gurupuja of Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar are being celebrated all over Tamil Nadu today. Thevar Jayanti is being celebrated by various political parties and movements across the state as well as by the general public.
As part of this, Thevar Jayantiwas celebrated in the Ramanathapuram area of Coimbatore.
Minister SP Velumani and AIADMK's Karnataka Treasurer Pugalenthi attended the function and paid homage to the portrait of Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar by offering garlands.
Following this, Minister S.P. Velumani provided various welfare packages to the general public.
